USMC Scalable Plate Carrier (Rifleman)

The Scalable Plate Carrier, or SPC, is the lightweight plate carrier version of the Modular Tactical Vest, or MTV. Both have been used by the United States Marine Corps from 2008 to today (2020).

This SPC is set up for a Marine Corps Rifleman. It is equipped with a triple rifle magazine pouch, two grenade pouches on the upper chest, dump pouch, mounted hydration pack, radio pouch with a PRC-152 radio, and buckled canteen or general purpose pouch. Other accessories include a Sidewinder style flashlight, tourniquet, infrared glow sticks, a Thales style push-to-talk and a USMC identification patch.
